In Minsk discussed the organization of the news service of the II European games

The organization of the European games news service was discussed at a seminar for press secretaries of the national Olympic committees and European sports federations, which was held in Minsk in preparation for the II European games, BelTA was informed by the press service of the games Directorate.

News service on the largest sports forums in the current sense of the word has been around since the summer Olympic games 2000 in Sydney. At the Olympics, Paralympics, European games, journalists are counting on this service, said the leading specialist of the communications, public relations and media Directorate Elena Smirnova. Arriving at the competition, media workers suggest that not all events they will be able to visit due to lack of time. In this case, they come to the aid of the news service, which prepares materials from all sites. This service is highly appreciated by all the world’s media that cover multi-sport events.

The seminar discussed in detail the work of the press during the upcoming forum, depending on the category of accreditation: E (journalists, bloggers), EP (photographers), ENR (employees of radio and television companies that do not have broadcasting rights). Thematic presentations reflecting different aspects of the work of the accredited press were made by employees of the communications, public relations and media Department of the Directorate of the II European games 2019 Foundation. Representatives of the European Olympic committees (EOC) and sports PR agencies also prepared presentations in various areas. The participants visited the international test competitions in gymnastics in Minsk-Arena.
